Editor, publisher, researcher, teacher
I have a PhD on the history of editing and publishing in Australia from ANU. In 2010 I co-founded Seizure, a platform for new writing, which ran an annual novella competition for a decade. Over the past fifteen years I have worked in trade publishing in Australia at Allen & Unwin, Murdoch, Giramondo and Brio Books where I was Associate Publisher. I have presented and run workshops at festivals and conferences in China, India and around Australia and have taught editing at the University of Technology, Sydney.
